GGC Dance Club Board Members
My name is Kashmera and I'm a board member of the Georgia Gwinnett College Dance Club! We became official in the spring of 2024 and have been holding classes ever since.
I am currently one of the main choreographers and teachers, with a focus in hip-hop and k-pop styles, however, I've also been tapping into jazz anc contemporary.
This semester, our club has successfully put together a dance team, with strong hopes that we'll start performing around the school in the spring. It's been a dream of ours since we started the club, so we're very proud of ourselves!
I've loved dancing since I was a kid. I didn't have many opportunities to learn new skills, so I taught myself how to dance and have been trying to improve ever since.
Coming here and starting the club has not only helped my social, leadership, and collaborative skills, but it allowed my inner child to persue her passion to dance in a room full with other people as passionate as I was, and teach others how to dance, so maybe they too can find an outlet to gain more confidence in themselves.
